General Manager - Execution & Asset Management

Enlight Renewable Energy is a global renewable energy platform developing, constructing, owning and operating large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects across multiple markets.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a member of Enlight’s senior leadership team, the General Manager will lead the company’s Project Execution & Asset Management organization, spanning Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Asset Management across Israel, Europe and MENA.

This is a senior, enterprise-level leadership role with end-to-end accountability for the execution and long-term management of major projects and assets, significant capital programs and substantial budgets. The GM will drive execution excellence, integrate strong functional leaders and build the organizational capabilities required to support Enlight’s continued global growth.

Leadership Profile

We are seeking an exceptional enterprise leader at CEO or COO level, with a proven track record of leading infrastructure businesses and delivering large-scale, capital-intensive construction and development programs in Israel and internationally.

The ideal candidate has led complex, multi-disciplinary organizations through the execution and delivery of major infrastructure projects, with accountability for substantial budgets, multiple functions and senior leadership teams. They combine strong business judgment and execution discipline with the ability to lead across geographies, build effective operating models and drive organizational performance at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution and asset management: Drive end-to-end performance across Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Asset Management, ensuring effective delivery and long-term operational excellence.
• Provide business leadership: Take ownership of major capital programs, budgets, execution performance and business objectives, in close partnership with the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Lead across geographies: Oversee operations across Israel, Europe and MENA, managing complex relationships with international suppliers, contractors and strategic partners.
• Build for scale: Establish the governance, policies, procedures and operating disciplines required to manage growing project portfolios and increasingly complex operations.
• Develop the organization: Lead and align a strong senior leadership team, strengthen cross-functional accountability and preserve Enlight’s values, standards and entrepreneurial DNA as the business scales.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• CEO or COO experience in an infrastructure, engineering, construction, energy or other capital-intensive business.
• Proven leadership of the construction and execution of mega-scale infrastructure projects in Israel and abroad.
• Experience leading multiple senior functional leaders and integrating complex, multidisciplinary operations.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing significant capital expenditure, budgets, contractors and strategic partners.
• International leadership experience across multiple markets and cultures.

Renewable energy experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects and leading complex businesses is the primary requirement.
