VP R&D

Eye-Net Mobile develops V2X collision-prevention technology for road safety. Our real-time, multi-user software uses existing cellular networks and phone sensors, with no additional hardware, to predict collisions between vehicles and all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and micromobility riders. It runs on smartphones and smart devices and is built on a patented architecture.

We offer Eye-Net Protect, an SDK for third-party location-based apps such as navigation, parking and shared micromobility.

The VP R&D will own Eye-Net's technology and engineering. He will lead the R&D team, set the technical roadmap, and make sure our products reach customers and automotive partners with the accuracy, latency and reliability that safety applications demand.

Responsibilities:

· Lead, mentor and grow the R&D team, including cloud and mobile development.

· Manage development processes, quality, release cycles and delivery schedules.

· Support customer and partner integrations, pilots and technical discussions with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and app developers.

· Ensure data privacy and security in the product and in development practices.

· Report to the Deputy CEO and management on R&D progress, risks and resources.

Requirements

· Proven experience leading R&D or engineering teams in a technology company.

· Strong background in software engineering, ideally real-time, distributed or cloud-based systems.

· Experience building and improving engineering processes in a small, fast-moving team.

· Experience with mobile development and location-based technologies, including GPS accuracy and sensor data.

· Hands-on understanding of algorithms, data and predictive modeling.

· Hands-on AI based SW development.

· Ability to manage a roadmap, budget and delivery in a fast-moving environment.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills; fluent English.

· B.Sc. or higher in computer science, engineering or a related field.

Advantages:
