Senior Frontend Engineer

Draftt is introducing MaintenanceOS™, the agentic maintenance layer for the enterprise tech stack, helping teams identify, understand, and eliminate tech debt before it impacts production.

About the Role

Draftt is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who’s passionate about crafting intuitive, fast, and high-quality user interfaces. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a big impact, take ownership of meaningful pieces of the product, and bring the right experience and energy to the team.

You’ll play a key part in building the face of the Draftt platform: developing new features, refining the interface, and ensuring responsive, reliable user interactions. As we scale the product and the team, you’ll have a leading role in the design and architecture of our frontend stack, working closely with product, design, and backend engineers to create a seamless experience for our users.

What You’ll Do

• Build, ship, and maintain user-facing features and frontend infrastructure using React and TypeScript
• Lead the design and architecture of our frontend codebase, setting the patterns and standards we build on as the product and team grow
• Develop complex, data-heavy interfaces, including dashboards, visualizations, and large-scale tables
• Partner with product and design to turn ideas into fast, intuitive interfaces
• Work closely with backend engineers on API integration and data flows
• Own features end to end, from concept through testing, performance tuning, and deployment
• Optimize the platform for speed, accessibility, and responsiveness

Who You Are

• A frontend engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience
• Highly proficient in React and TypeScript
• Skilled at building and scaling complex frontend systems with component-based frameworks
• Experienced with frontend-backend interactions, including system architecture, performance optimization, and efficient data handling at scale
• Passionate about UI/UX, with a high bar for code quality
• Self-driven, comfortable working independently in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
• Proven in building core products from scratch

Nice to Have

• DevOps and CI/CD experience, or a full-stack background
• Developer tools experience, or products built for engineering teams
• Design systems, whether building one or contributing to one
• Startup experience, ideally at an early-stage company
• AI coding tools proficiency
